KELSCABARET Jingle

Recording Written and Performed by Jackie Loeb

Announcements: Adrian Gomez

Adrian Gomez is a financial advisor. Daily he gets to help folks with planning strategies, retirement planning, and investment management.  You may have seen him in a previous life as an actor--perhaps in the famous blue polo as a Helpful Honda person during the Superbowl, caught him onstage as a professional improvisor at ImprovCity, or as a parent hopeful in the award-winning short film "Federal Approved Parent." Lately he's been fortunate enough to have been cast in several Miscellanea TV projects, and enjoyed seeing them premiere in film festivals.

Host: Kelsey Redmond

Kelsey Redmond (she/her) is an actor, singer, and host for hire. If you want her to dance, this is an additional fee. Puppet stuff can also be discussed in the terms of the contract. Kelsey is mainly found on stage and screen--usually distracted because her sequins are too loud. Owner of KELSCABARET, the production company behind her monthly variety show OC Cabaret.

Credits: Much Ado About Nothing, A Christmas CarolBirdbrain (and cast recording), Avenue Q, Miscellanea TV series. Awards: 2x Best Vocals, ImprovCity. Best Actress, Special Award for "Lady Luck" Cinematic European Film Festival. Silver Award Best Actress Paris Film Awards for "Make Your Bed." Bernard R Kornhaber “Outstanding Graduate” School of Theatre, Film, and Television, The University of Arizona.
A huge thank you to the "OC Cabaret" cast and crew, and ImprovCity for helping bring this show to life! Much love to my husband Adrian for your wholehearted support in all my endeavors—even though I am funnier than you.

Bryce St. Peter

Kelsey Redmond: Life of the Party

Sabrina Orro: Journey to the Past

Sabrina Orro graduated Summa Cum Laude from Cal Poly SLO with her BA in Theatre Arts and attended PCPA’s 2-year Acting Conservatory. Since then, Sabrina’s worked with regional theatres including PCPA and SLO Repertory Theatre, and starred in a variety of on-camera projects, including “Oblivium” and “Our Christmas House” on Amazon Prime Video, and “A Weekend in July,” “The Passenger,” and “Werk” (spelled WERK) on YouTube. Sharon Rae Massey: Moments in the Woods

Sharon Rae Massey is honored to be part of this extraordinary cast. This group of people is a constant source of joy in her life. Kelsey — thank you for everything. You are our North Star, our captain, our anchor, and the heart beating at the center of it all. We’d follow you anywhere — straight into the fires of Mordor if we had to.

Robert Burns: One of the Great Ones

Robert has been married to his wife, Sandra, for 40 years.  He thanks her for her consistent support–She is his “Great One” and he will not let her go!  Robert has been performing for over 40 years.   He has been part of the ImprovCity troupe for six years and auditions for commercials on a regular basis.  Last week he filmed a commercial for a new gay dating app–yes, he is that good of an actor.

Delaney Dorsey: One Day

Delaney Dorsey (she/her) is thrilled to be back with OC Cabaret… because let’s be honest, she was never going to stay away for long. She’s a theatre lover with a flair for bold women, big feelings, and the occasional belted note. Favorite past roles include Margaret (POTUS), Fiona (Shrek), Lorraine (All Shook Up), and Joanne (Rent). She hopes you laugh loudly, clap enthusiastically, and keep showing up for live art. We need you… seriously. IG: delaney.02

Stephen Prat: Rio

Stephen Prat is an Orange County singer, saxophone, and flute player. He can be heard singing in various churches in the County, and very occasionally singing and playing keys in a cover band. Since he was too young in the 80’s to really be able to say he “grew up” in that decade, he has to give full credit to his older brothers for ensuring a rounded and balanced musical education that appreciates epic songs like this one.

Gabby Musquez: In My Dreams

Gabby is so thankful to be celebrating 4 years with KelsCabaret! Her credits include singing in her car, singing in her shower, and singing at home but more importantly singing at KelsCabaret. Her boyfriend, who is new to the musical world, picked this song and she is so excited to share. Thank you to everyone who makes KelsCabaret such a special place to be.

Sarah O’Brien: Girl in the Bubble

Sarah is an actress, singer, songwriter, and an entrepreneur. Sarah studied Theatre at Azusa Pacific University. Some of her favorite past roles and credits include Shelby in Steel Magnolias, Hannah in The Promise The Musical, and Rapunzel in Into the Woods. She thanks God for guiding her in her journey and for the support of her loved ones and mentors. She was recently seen competing in the SAS and Miss Southern California Pageant and modeling in Orange County Swim Week last July. This year she acted as Nichole in the film Her Name was Luna and is writing her first music album.

Matt Hoover: The Devil You Know

4th Anniversary? WHAT! Matt Hoover: a true quadruple threat—he sings, he acts, he dances, and he reminds you he does all three four times per conversation. Born to take center stage (stage left, stage right, and at least four backup positions), Matt has spent his career hitting every mark… usually within a four-foot radius.

A firm believer that “less is more” is simply not enough, Matt gives 4x the energy, 4x the drama, and at least 4 unnecessary riffs per song. Directors describe him as “a solid 4 out of 10… multiplied by charisma,” while audiences agree he always brings the house down—sometimes unintentionally, sometimes in 4-part harmony.

When he’s not busy stealing scenes, he’s busy counting them—because if Matt’s not in at least four numbers, is it even a show? Known for his impeccable timing (give or take 4 beats), Matt continues to prove that he’s not just a star—he’s a full constellation… of four.

Mae Loda-Bride: Happy Days

Bryce St. Peter: Charlie from House Party

After a very unexpected 3-year hiatus from OC Cabaret due to family hijinks, Bryce is finally here tonight to perform the titular Villain song, “Charlie” from his second opera titled “House Party” about a 19th Century Aristocratic French family fighting over their father’s inheritance. Bryce hopes you enjoy the song, and hopes to continue performing more often at OC Cabaret for the foreseeable future. Thank you.

Faith Graham, Steve Pepper, Kelsey Redmond: Point of No Return

Faith is super excited to be back for yet another cabaret, getting to perform such an amazing song! Past theatre credits include: It’s All Your Fault, Tyler Price! (Hollywood premiere, Hudson Theatre); The Wizard of Oz (Musical Theatre West); Through These Eyes (La Mirada). TV: Kipo And The Age Of Wonderbeasts (Netflix), A Winnie the Pooh Christmas (Fandango), Super Boomi (Qubo), Marriage of Lies (Lifetime). Musical albums: White Collar Prison; Chasing The Sky. You can also listen to her original music on Spotify! You may also recognize her from her fantasies, where she dubbed herself the “most famous person in the world”! When she’s not performing, she enjoys writing scripts and songs and attempting to teach her parakeet how to
talk.

Intermission (10 minutes)

Chris Fine: Out There

Chris Fine has studied theater at Saddleback College, South Coast Repertory, and the Open Jar Institute in NYC. Some favorite theater credits include Trebonius in Julius Caesar with Shakepeare by the Sea, Homer/others in Charlottes Web at Phantom Projects, Shrek in Shrek: The Musical at Stagelight, Seymour in Little shop of horrors at Saddleback College. He recently debuted in his first feature film on Amazon, Squeaky Directed by Jared Cohn. He hopes you enjoy the show!  instagram: @chris_fine

Shelby Ann: Maybe this Time

Shelby Ann is a musician, singer and actor originally from Napa, California. Growing up, Shelby was heavily involved in her local theatre community and trained in both acting and singing all over the bay area. Shelby spent years on the road touring all over the US and Canada as a singer songwriter and in various different rock bands. She also spent some time living in Nashville, TN performing at the World Famous Tootsie's Orchid Lounge full time, before she decided to move back to California and put down roots in Orange County when she became a cast member at Disneyland. You can find her music on all streaming platforms and follow her on social media under the name Shelby Ann Music.

Daniel Rockhill-Byrne: Snoopy

Dan is honored to be here for OC Cabaret’s 4th Anniversary! He thought for a while about what his “best for forward” would be and still isn’t convinced he found the answer. He had a lot of wonderful suggestions from his friends and family, whom he loves and respects, which he promptly ignored. A wise man named Matt Hoover told him once, “I don’t mean this as a read, but you’re really good when you sing normal shit.” As much as Dan hates to admit it, Matt did have a point. Though Dan would like to apologize to Matt specifically as this is not Being Alive. Instead, here is the most unhinged thing from the “normal” side of musical theatre.

Tim Magoun: Music of the Night

Tim is excited to be back at the OC Cabaret! He’s currently a cast member of ImprovCity’s Friday/Saturday troupe. He has been always striving to expand his creativity, whether through acting classes, guitar lessons, or singing lessons. You can catch him on select Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30pm or 9:30pm each month. Being on stage and moving people, either to laughter or tears, is what makes him feel alive.

Steve Pepper: Being Alive

Steve Pepper has been absolutely blessed to be a member of the OC/KelsCabaret family for the past four years.  In that time, he has sung many a gay tune, shared the stage with his dearest friends, helped Kermit the Frog duet with Lady Gaga and wailed many an 11 o’clock number originally written for a fabulous lady.  Steve deliberated for weeks over the perfect song for this auspicious Anniversary celebration, wanting to do his absolute best to honor this sacred space where he and his friends can come together to create art and community amidst the tumult of the real world.  In the end, he decided to share his heart vulnerably and honestly, and sing the song that taught him just what Theatre could do nearly 20 years ago.  This performance is dedicated to his sister and Fairy TheatreMother Wendy, and to all of his KelsCabaret family.  Anything you do, let it come from you, then it will be new.  Give us more to see.

Patrick Castillo: Como La Flor

Patrick Castillo (He/They) is an OC based performer with experience primarily in Musical Theatre, live performance and on occasion laying some studio vocals. He’s been consistently performing for nearly a decade all across OC, in shows such as Jesus Christ Superstar (Judas), American Idiot (Tunny), The Drowsy Chaperone (Robert), Rocky Horror Picture Show (Riff Raff), Sister Act (Pablo) , The Hunchback of Notre Dame (St. Aphrodisius), Etc.

When not on stage, he is usually crocheting or writing songs. Hopes you all enjoy this performance! Much love to friends & family!

Cheryl George: Someone to Watch Over Me

Cheryl is originally from Massachusetts where she grew up performing with a local community theater as well as participating in high school musicals.  Cheryl went to the University of New Hampshire and was a member of a women’s a Capella group as well as the UNH Jazz Choir.    Cheryl moved to California in 1998 and has been performing with choirs in Southern California for over 25 years.

Elise Marie Lindenau: Times are Hard for Dreamers

Elise is so excited to be back with OC Cabaret! Her passion for the stage started when she was five years old and performed as a dancing Elf in a local holiday ballet. From there, she found her voice and couldn’t wait to share it with anyone who would listen! She most recently performed with Valverde Stage Productions as Sally in You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown and with the Redlands Theater Festival as Inga in Young Frankenstein and Alice in You Can’t Take It With You! She was also seen dancing her heart out in Performance Riverside’s production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and hopping through the Springtime Garden at South Coast Plaza as the Easter Bunny puppeteer! She is forever grateful to her parents, wonderful husband, and friends for their support and love. This one, and every one, is for her father! @elisemarielindy www.elisemarielindenau.com

Gabrielle Gutierrez: Something to Shout About

Gabrielle Gutierrez (she/her) is an award-nominated actress and producer with a dynamic career spanning theatre and film. Her recent credits include celebrated solo premieres at two of New York's iconic Off-Broadway venues, 54 Below and The Laurie Beechman Theatre. When she’s not performing, she is running two companies alongside her husband, Damion: their production company, OutFox Entertainment, and an animal nonprofit called Bright Tails Animal Alliance. She is absolutely thrilled to be back with OC Cabaret and hopes everyone enjoys the show!
